PFC Social Media Playbook — Weekly Posting Cadence & Automation Guide

Estimated reading time: 3 min read

PFC Social Media Playbook cover

This playbook defines the complete weekly social media publishing system for Pathfinder Campus — what gets posted, when, on which platforms, and how to produce each post type consistently across all 52 weeks of the Career Compass program.

How the Week Works #

Each piece of weekly content maps to a specific social post on a specific day. The video is the anchor — everything else radiates from it. The Video Short is the only post that requires video footage. All other posts are text-based and work as standalone content even if no one clicks through.

Post Structure Guide #

Sunday — LinkedIn Teaser (180–260 words · 7:00 PM) #

  • Hook — the sharpest sentence from the first 30 seconds of the video script, before the LinkedIn “see more” fold
  • Story — the personal or illustrative anecdote from the script opening
  • Insight — the week’s core thesis in one punchy declarative line
  • Bridge — tease the framework without fully explaining it
  • CTA — always “Link in the comments. 👇” — never embed the URL in the post body
  • Hashtags — 4 tags: topic-specific, broad career, transition/job search, #Pathfinder

Sunday — Video Short (YouTube Shorts · Instagram Reels · TikTok · ~28 seconds) #

  • Find the closing sentence of the opening story in the video script — target window: 00:30–01:00
  • Structure: 0:00–0:05 cold open (clip, no intro) → 0:05–0:18 text overlay → 0:18–0:24 card → 0:24–0:28 CTA
  • Caption rule: highlight the final 8 words in white; all prior lines in semi-transparent black

Tuesday — Practical Exercise Post (120–180 words · 7:00 AM) #

  • Problem — what most people do wrong or skip
  • The exercise — 3–4 steps as plain sentences
  • Payoff — one line on what changes when they do this
  • CTA — link to Career Compass in first comment

Thursday — Reflection Post (100–150 words · 7:00 AM · no link) #

  • Observation — name the uncomfortable truth or common experience
  • Reframe — the perspective shift the reflection post offers
  • Question — one open question ending the post. No CTA, no link — engagement only

Saturday — Quote Card (Instagram · Facebook · 10:00 AM) #

  • Pull the single strongest sentence from the deep dive — under 20 words
  • Usually the “cost” framing or the central reframe
  • Pair with the week’s feature image

Automation Status #

What Is Fully Automated Today #

  • All blog post content generated by pfc-run-week in a single command
  • WordPress scheduling — deep dive (Tue), practical exercise (Thu), reflection (Sat)
  • FluentCRM weekly email to members
  • Feature images and PowerPoint slides
  • All five social post texts generated and saved to the week’s output folder

What Always Requires Manual Action #

  • Recording the video
  • Producing the video short (clip, text overlay, export)
  • Uploading the short to video platforms

Platform Connector Roadmap #
